Outback Steakhouse Co-Founder Chris Sullivan Buys Luxurious Bayshore Home - Tampa Bay's Real Estate Market Continues to Boom!
Have you ever wondered how the rich and famous spend their money on real estate? Well, we have some news for you! Chris Sullivan, the co-founder of Outback Steakhouse, has purchased a luxurious townhouse on Bayshore Boulevard for $3.3 million from Les and Pam Muma, two of Tampa Bay's most prolific philanthropists. The townhouse is a part of the condominium tower Alagon on Bayshore.
Teale Taggart Smith of Keller Williams South Tampa handled both sides of the transaction, which closed on March 14. According to property records, it appears to have been a cash transaction. Sullivan declined to comment on the purchase.
Interestingly, Sullivan and his wife, Sandra, already own a penthouse in Alagon, which they purchased for $2.2 million in 2013. They have put it up for sale for $4.75 million.
This isn't the first time Sullivan has made headlines with a real estate purchase. He sold a Davis Islands home for $4 million, which was later bought by Tampa Bay Buccaneers co-owner Darcie Glazer Kassewitz and her husband, Joel Kassewitz, for $10 million.
It's clear that Tampa Bay's luxury housing market remains strong, with an Ohio buyer recently paying more than $1,400 per square foot for a Culbreath Isles home. If you're in the market for luxury real estate in Tampa Bay, it seems like now is the time to buy!
